The features, characteristic for the Vladivostok modernist style caused by influence on it of the European culture and architecture of St. Petersburg are considered. Relevance of research is caused by the importance of positioning of the city as bright example of interesting European architecture at a boundary of the end of the XIX beginning of the XX century, and its advance in this aspect as Russian port, attractive to tourists, in the Far East. The central question of positioning of any region and formation national and territorial brending is creation at target audience of positive representation about him.
